In May we had a water leak in the kitchen ceiling which the plumbers originally thought was from a leaky shower pan. The leak was actually a copper pipe in the wall between our master bedroom and bath. But it started a remodel of the master bathroom of epic proportions. Well it is now October and 200 square feet of tile later our master bathroom is finished.
The horrible old shower is gone and we have a new bathtub. It is really hard to take a photo of the bathroom due to it being split in half by a wall but you can at least get an idea of what it looks like now. The hit of green on the far left is the wall color throughout. It is actually a very bright green apple color that David picked out. It grows on you after a while. I am very pleased with the way it all turned out. But no more big home improvement projects for a while.
Oh I forgot to mention the 200+ square feet of tile were all hand laid by me. Measured, cut, laid, grouted and sealed by me. My first attempt ever at tiling.
