White Christmas

I wouldn't really say I am homesick for Minnesota but I have been a bit jealous of all the snow my sister has been getting lately. I saw this photo on Yahoo news yesterday. Although the photo is from Colorado it sure looks like the perfect snow day in Minnesota. Photo credit (AP Photo/Nathan Bilow)

I don't like to travel at Christmas time anyway, so we were already planning on staying home for Christmas. I knew they were forecasting some snow and this is part of the weather alert was posted today.

"A WHITE CHRISTMAS IS VERY RARE FOR THIS PART OF THE COUNTRY. THE LAST TIME MEMPHIS HAD AT LEAST A HALF INCH OF SNOW ON THE GROUND MAKING FOR A WHITE CHRISTMAS WAS IN 2004. EVEN MORE RARE IS MEASURABLE SNOWFALL ON CHRISTMAS DAY. THE LAST TIME THAT HAPPENED WAS IN 1913. "
Weatherman says 1 to 2 inches. Hope we get a white Christmas in West TN.
