Puffy Quilt - SMS Giveaway Day

I am thrilled to participate in the Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day again.

My giveaway is a completed 30x36 inch puffy quilt with 120 "puffs" in over 30 different fabrics in every shade and texture of pink, purple and white. I think this is the softest, cuddliest quilt I have ever made. Backed with a plush pink textured fleece fabric great to cuddle up with on any occasion.

I know you are all trying to visit the hundreds of blogs that have giveaways but please slow down to enjoy the journey. There are some really awesome crafters out there. Click on some of their other posts. You never know what you might find.

To win the puffy quilt just leave a comment on this post sharing a New Years Resolution for 2012. Make sure your comment has a way for me to contact you.
Followers of my blog will receive an additional entry. If you're a follower of my blog leave a second comment telling me that you are. New followers are welcome as well.
You can leave comments until December 16 at 5 p.m. PST, I will then randomly pick a winner later Friday. And, yes, I will ship internationally.

Just slow down and enjoy all the fantastic blogs out there. Pace yourself, you have until Friday to visit all their giveaways.

  2. I don't really do new year's resolutions. I like to amend my habits throughout the year, but every year I renew my promise to slow down, and enjoy the little moments with my family, as much as possible.

  18. Your quilt looks so cute. I had seen this before on your blog and thought it would be a lot of extra work, but still so cute. One of my sewing resolutions will be to put away my tools and extra fabric after each project . I had that last year and did it about half the time so i am hoping to do this each time in the new year.

  43. Cute quilt! I love your "please slow down" advice. It's a good thing to live by, too. :P I also love the name of your blog.

My new year resolution is twofold:

    1. I'm going to worry about doing more, and worry less about doing it perfectly. The perfection complex really gets in the way of my trying new things.

    2. The second part is that I want to collect a photo of a kitty from every state. I just think it would be fun. :) I'm calling it the Cat Project. http://sunflowermuse.com/catproject/

    Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  44. My New Years resolution is to learn how to sew!!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Oh Rochelle, you had me at slow down. This puffy quilt is absolutely gorgeous - you have very talented hands indeed.

I have my own little crafting business. I repurpose old paper goods and sell the products at craft markets and local stores here in Cape Town, South Africa. My biggest new year's resolution is to take it up a notch and venture into riskier products (i.e. not kinkier, just less ordinary - teehee). I've been too scared to step out of the safe zone and it's about time to take that leap.

    Wish me luck :)

  173. My Resolution for Next Year is... well, I kinda made a resolution a few years ago to not make resolutions anymore... and I've stuck to it. However, I do have a few goals for 2012... hoping to have baby #3! Use less prepackaged prepared foods, cook from scratch baby! Spend more time crafting (my three favorites are knitting, sewing, and photography). Your quilt is beautiful!!!!
