my new years resolution is to start getting more active
ReplyDeleteI don't really do new year's resolutions. I like to amend my habits throughout the year, but every year I renew my promise to slow down, and enjoy the little moments with my family, as much as possible.
ReplyDeletelimor477@aol.com
What an amazing quilt - thank you for the giveaway! My resolution is giving more of my time to helping others.
ReplyDeleteMy new year's resolution is to try to just keep things in perspective - to take stock of positive things so that stressful things don't get overwhelming.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt, by the way! It looks sooo cozy!
My new year's resolution this year is to run a half marathon! The quilt is beautiful and my girls would LOVE it
ReplyDeleteOh my, my niece would LOVE this -- she is super tactile! ANd thank you for the reminder to slow down and enjoy -- it's hard not to get swept up in the sheer volume of this event! I haven't decided on any resolutions yet, but I'm always looking to stress less and focus on the positive!
ReplyDeleteMy New Year's resolution is to have more date nights with my husband.
ReplyDeleteI always make the same resolutions. Be a better mother, be a better wife and take better care of myself!
ReplyDeleteMy New Year's resolution is to stress less and enjoy my children more and let them just be kids!
ReplyDeleteBaby girl coming next month... so I suppose my new year's resolution is to (with or without help) keep the house clean and baby-safe!
ReplyDeleteI love this quilt.

ReplyDeleteThis past year, I have been working on just becoming a better person... less road rage, more acts of kindness, less anger, etc. I intend to continue working on that path in the coming year.
ReplyDeletelove this quilt! new years resolution is to enjoy each moment with my 8 month old son (yes, even the diaper changes:) because time is flying by so quickly.
ReplyDeletemcintoshsusan at hotmail dot com
Your quilt looks so cute. I had seen this before on your blog and thought it would be a lot of extra work, but still so cute. One of my sewing resolutions will be to put away my tools and extra fabric after each project . I had that last year and did it about half the time so i am hoping to do this each time in the new year.
ReplyDeleteI am a new follower.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway Rochelle!
ReplyDeleteI've had an extremely challenging year via health issues and loss of income, so my resolution for 2012 is to live more from gratitude and trust instead of fear and doubt.
I just added your blog to my favourites! You have so many awesome blogs that you follow!
ReplyDeletemcintoshsusan at hotmail dot com
I enjoyed exploring your blog Rochelle - and now I'm a new follower! Fun!!
ReplyDeleteI have always admired these type of quilts, and have been tempted to make one. I am concerned about the puffs having the same amount of fill though (I'm too picky). Next year - maybe try to finish what I have started or get rid of it! judy@opticqa.com
ReplyDeleteI am so in love with this quilt!! And my 3 daughters too! It looks so comfy!
ReplyDeleteiremembersleep at yahoo Thank you so much for including us in your lovely gifting!

ReplyDeleteMy New Year's Resolution is to organize my spare time more effectively, in order to be finally able to sew again!
My resolution is to get healthier after the birth of my 5th child. I want to see all of my grandchildren someday! :)
ReplyDeleteI just saw a tutorial on Sew We Quilt for how to make these! I love it! I need to make one, someday, though i might want mine to be a little heavier like a weighted blanket. Oh, I've wanted one of those for years. Maybe that will be my resolution: make a puffy weighted blanket.
ReplyDeleteNew Year's Resolution: Start using my sewing machine! SO CUTE!
ReplyDeleteMy new years resolution is to finish projects quicker and not have 5 quilt tops ready for quilting.....:)
ReplyDeleteI AM ALSO A FOLLOWER!!

ReplyDeleteI love this puffy quilt! Pink is my favorite color and I have a new niece on the way who I'm sure would love it. Thank you for the sweet giveaway. Not really a new year's resolution, but a goal for 2012 is to focus more on my large ongoing (inerminable) projects and less on small quick projects. Thanks for the great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful is that quilt!I agree with you about a slow journey through the blogs. I find it a great opportunity to get to know new good ones to follow! (I'm now following your blog.)

ReplyDeleteyvonnetrail@comcast.net
Pufftastic! My resolution (which I'm against as a rule) would be to slow down, and just enjoy life more. There is no reason to rush rush rush. Which I see you mention in your post, quite right!
ReplyDeleteMy new year's resolution is to sew more for charity.
ReplyDeleteI follow you. Thank you for a sweet giveaway!
ReplyDeleteSweet puffiness! I am going to make a more sincere effort to be intentional in parenting my children. It's so easy to just "react", but if we are proactive things go much better.

ReplyDeletebrooke at richardchurch dot com
Cute quilt! I love your "please slow down" advice. It's a good thing to live by, too. :P I also love the name of your blog.
ReplyDeleteMy new year resolution is twofold:
1. I'm going to worry about doing more, and worry less about doing it perfectly. The perfection complex really gets in the way of my trying new things.
2. The second part is that I want to collect a photo of a kitty from every state. I just think it would be fun. :) I'm calling it the Cat Project. http://sunflowermuse.com/catproject/
Thanks!
My New Years resolution is to learn how to sew!!
ReplyDeleteOh Rochelle, you had me at slow down. This puffy quilt is absolutely gorgeous - you have very talented hands indeed.
ReplyDeleteI have my own little crafting business. I repurpose old paper goods and sell the products at craft markets and local stores here in Cape Town, South Africa. My biggest new year's resolution is to take it up a notch and venture into riskier products (i.e. not kinkier, just less ordinary - teehee). I've been too scared to step out of the safe zone and it's about time to take that leap.
Wish me luck :)

My resolution is to let myself "color outside the lines" in my upcoming quilt projects.
ReplyDeleteMy New Year's resolution is always to never make any, because I can never keep them and then I get angry with myself for breaking them. This way I save myself the grief.
