Subtle Hint

I have been getting ready for the wedding this weekend. Made myself a bag with two coordinating accessory bags and a camera strap to match. The rosey flowers match my dress.


Stopped by salon to get my hair cut after work today. Stylist asked me if I had ever colored my hair. I guess that is her subtle hint that I should.

Growing

The braided rag rug is growing.


About 18 inches across. This is my current "in front of the tv" project. Cut a little, braid a little, coil a little. Eventually it will get done... Two more pair of sweatpants to go.

Bride and Counting

Bride tag is done. Val if you want me to drop it in the mail just let me know.


And if you want me to make ring bearer pillows just say the word. I got your back. One more week and it will all be a memory.

Final Product

It is too cute to be called a Frankenstein shirt anymore.


The bottom of the two shorts combined. Elastic at the waist and top.


It is hard to see the colors but there are pink flowers that match the bottom perfectly.

Frankenstein

Taking a break for the evening but I have an idea to Frankenstein these two shirts together.
Rose colored tshirt.


And a floral print cotton button up.

Refashioned

Old tshirt from my mother that has seen better days.


Cut down the front and cut off the collar.


Add some binding tape.


And a cute dotted trim.


Now a nice summer weight, short sleeve cardigan.

The only question is should I add dotted trim around the sleeves or leave it as is?

I found a package of rub ons I bought years ago. Good way to use up all the Ns.

Done with two weeks to spare.








Quilted, bound and folded. Just need to add a label and figure out how to wrap it.

Funny thing is my nephew would love to have his dog as the ring bearer. Not sure it would go over well with the bride and everyone else.

Hopefully my weekend is full of getting some projects knocked off my list. Number one being the binding for the double wedding ring quilt. Good news is I probably only nee another hour or so to finish it.
